How often is Nexus checked?
Every three minutes, against each verified onion mirror in turn. The time of the last check is printed on the status page, so you always know how fresh the answer is.
What does it mean when one mirror is down but the site says up?
Each mirror is a separate door into the same market. As long as one door answers, you can get in. A single mirror going quiet is normal and usually passes within minutes.
Nexus loads for you but not for me. Why?
Almost always your Tor circuit rather than the market. Request a new circuit and reload, restart Tor Browser if that does not help, then try a different mirror from the list here.
How long do outages usually last?
Short. Most blips clear in three to twenty minutes, which is the shape of a flood passing rather than a market disappearing. The history page shows what recent ones looked like.
Is a down mirror a sign Nexus exit scammed?
No. A brief outage is routine for any hidden service under load. An exit scam looks like every mirror gone for days with no signed word from the operator, not a few quiet minutes.
Where do I get a real Nexus address?
Copy one from the mirrors page here, then confirm it on the login screen against your address bar before your password. Never take an address from a random chat or search result, especially during an outage.
Do you store anything about me?
No. This site runs no accounts, no tracking of visitors and no logs tied to you. It answers one question and lists verified addresses.
Terms
- Onion address
- A fifty-six character Tor address ending in .onion. Copy it, never type it, and verify it on the login screen.
- Mirror
- A separate onion address that reaches the same market. Several are kept live so one going down does not lock everyone out.
- Uptime
- The share of checks where the market answered. Measured here across all mirrors, so it reflects whether you could get in at all.
- Tor circuit
- The path your traffic takes through the Tor network. A tired circuit is the most common reason a site will not load.
- Flood
- A burst of traffic aimed at a hidden service. It makes a mirror slow or unreachable for a few minutes and then passes.
